Ministry of Commerce: Starting from March 1, 2026, anti-dumping duties will be imposed on imported rapeseed originating from Canada.

The Ministry of Commerce has issued an announcement, publishing the final ruling in the anti-dumping investigation into imports of rapeseed originating in Canada. The investigating authority ultimately determined that imports of rapeseed originating in Canada are being dumped, that China’s domestic rapeseed industry has suffered material injury, and that there is a causal relationship between the dumping and the material injury. Pursuant to Article 38 of the Anti-Dumping Regulations, the Ministry of Commerce has submitted a proposal to the Tariff Commission of the State Council to impose anti-dumping duties. The Tariff Commission of the State Council, based on the proposal from the Ministry of Commerce, has made a decision that, effective March 1, 2026, anti-dumping duties will be imposed on imports of rapeseed originating in Canada.
