The Sci-Tech Innovation Indexes collectively rise, with the Sci-Tech Innovation 50 ETF by E Fund attracting nearly 500 million yuan in inflows for four consecutive days, drawing attention.
At the close of today’s stock market, the indices related to the STAR Market rose collectively, showcasing strong market vitality. Among them, the STAR 200 Index led the pack with a 4.5% gain, followed closely by the STAR Growth Index, which rose 3.6%. The STAR 100 Index and the STAR Composite Index increased by 3.5% and 3.4%, respectively, while the STAR 50 Index also achieved a 3.3% gain, bringing investors solid returns.
According to the latest statistics from Wind data, the STAR 50 ETF of Southern Fund (code 588080; linkage fund A/C/Y codes are 011608/011609/022895, respectively) has recently continued to attract capital. As of yesterday, the fund had received net capital inflows for four consecutive trading days, with a cumulative amount nearing 500 million yuan, indicating the market’s positive expectations for the STAR Market’s outlook going forward.
In a recent research report, Guojin Securities noted that, due to its high elasticity and high volatility characteristics, the STAR 50 Index had shown a more pronounced adjustment compared with other broad-based indices in the earlier period when it was affected by external factors. However, historical data suggests that during stages when geopolitical tensions ease and market risk appetite rebounds, the STAR 50 Index’s rebound strength has often been stronger than that of the main board market. At present, the index has already gone through a fairly sufficient correction, and market pessimistic expectations have basically been absorbed. If the external environment continues to improve, the STAR 50 Index is expected to deliver a strong rebound and catch-up after being oversold.
Despite the positive market performance, investors still need to stay cautious. Fund investments involve risks, and market volatility is difficult to predict. When making decisions, investors should fully consider their own risk tolerance and invest rationally.
