Last night before bed, I was taught a lesson by the mainnet gas fees again... I wanted to save that little bit of money, but repeatedly confirming and doubting myself.
Now my compromise is: for small, frequent daily transactions, just use L2 to keep the experience smooth;
If I really want to store large amounts or do long-term investments, I’ll pick a low-traffic time to bridge the funds back to the mainnet, even if it’s slower, I’ll feel more secure.
Honestly, don’t just keep moving your funds around to “save on transaction fees,” because the time cost is more expensive.
Recently, everyone compares RWA, US bond yields, and on-chain yield products, but I care more about one thing: where does the yield come from, whether the withdrawal channels are smooth, and not to end up saving gas but losing out on slippage and risk control.
That’s it for now, take it slow.
