Former Federal Reserve Vice Chair Clarida: The longer the conflict lasts, the greater the negative impact on the U.S. economy

Pacific Investment Management Company (PIMCO, Pimco) Global Economic Advisor Richard Clarida (former Vice Chairman of the Federal Reserve) stated, “(The Iran war) the longer the conflict lasts, the greater the negative impact on the U.S. economy.” He pointed out, “The long-term energy shocks have not yet been fully priced into the market, but if they persist, they will indeed slow economic growth.”
