It's so stuffy outside today it feels like it's going to rain, and the traffic jam on the road cooled my coffee... I casually thought about my wallet setup. To be honest, with not much assets and a love for tinkering, a hardware wallet is enough—at least don't leave the private key on a computer that’s constantly installing plugins; once you reach a certain size (especially the part that’s long-term inactive), multi-signature is really appealing. It’s a bit more trouble but can prevent scenarios like “slip of the hand and everything’s gone.” As for social recovery, I have a pretty conflicted attitude towards it. It’s suitable for those who are afraid of losing their seed phrase but can find a reliable “guardian,” otherwise it might turn into social engineering recovery… which is more exciting. Recently, I also came across a bunch of social mining/fan coin schemes. Mining attention is fine, but attention is also the easiest to be exploited. Don’t design your wallet to perform for others; discipline is greater than faith, so that’s how I’ll leave it for now.
