U.S. stocks open, Dow Jones up 0.22%, Broadcom shares rise 1.4%
Mars Finance reports that according to Gate Market data, the U.S. stock market opened with the Dow Jones Industrial Average rising 0.22%, the S&P 500 index up 0.13%, and the Nasdaq Composite index increasing 0.18%. Broadcom (AVGO.O) stock price rose 1.4% due to an extension of its custom chip agreement with Meta, while ASML (ASML.O) stock price fell 3%.
