The most annoying thing lately isn't that I haven't made any profit, but that as soon as my account shows a red, I start to feel restless and can't sleep well. To put it simply, floating losses feel like a persistent pop-up window in my mind: you clearly haven't sold yet, but my body already treats it as a "real loss," while floating gains are just casual, like "oh, it's okay," whether it goes up or not. Loss aversion is pretty tricky.
These days, I've also seen everyone linking ETF capital flows, U.S. stock risk appetite, and crypto market rises and falls in their analysis. The more complete the narrative, the easier it is for people to feel "I must do something now," which makes them watch the market more anxiously. Anyway, I just lowered my expectations: not expecting to fully capitalize on a single wave, just watching a few sentiment indicators until they align... and surprisingly, my mood feels a bit lighter. That's how I'll proceed for now.
