Abstract generation in progress

ME News Report, April 7 (UTC+8), robotics expert Jitendra Malik recently pointed out that there are many carefully curated demonstrations in the field of robot operation, but a lack of standardized evaluation benchmarks. He proposed a new metric called STT (Success weighted by normalized inverse Task Time). This metric draws inspiration from the SPL metric in the robot navigation field but replaces path length with the time required to complete the task, normalized by the time humans take to perform the same task. For example, this metric can be used to evaluate tasks such as “picking up.” (Source: InFoQ)
