Trump says he will coordinate with multiple countries to send warships to ensure the safe passage through the Strait of Hormuz

U.S. President Trump posted on social media on March 14 local time, stating that many countries, especially those affected by Iran’s attempt to close the Strait of Hormuz, will send warships together with the United States to ensure the strait remains open and secure. Trump said the U.S. will launch fierce bombings against the relevant coastlines and continue to target Iranian ships and vessels. Trump stated that, regardless, the U.S. will soon make the Strait of Hormuz “reopen, secure, and achieve free passage.” (CCTV News)
