According to Haikou Customs statistics, in the first quarter of this year, Haikou Customs supervised a total of 14.21 billion yuan in duty-free shopping on Hainan’s island departure, with 1.82M shoppers, and a total of 10.98M items purchased, representing year-on-year increases of 25.7%, 18%, and 12%, respectively.
