I just saw that ClearBank in the Netherlands received approval from the AFM to operate as a crypto asset provider under MiCA. Basically, this means they can now officially launch stablecoin services like EURC and USDC. The interesting part is that this opens the door for faster and cheaper cross-border transfers and payments, which many people expected from these platforms. Additionally, they are expanding their collaboration with a certain exchange to offer protected savings accounts. The team already has backing from the European Central Bank and is regulated by the DNB, so the structure is quite solid. Does anyone else think this will change how the payment system works in Europe?
