I just found out that XChat, the app Musk has been trying to launch for almost four years, is finally coming out on April 17th. Basically, it's his obsession with creating the Western version of WeChat, and after nearly a year of internal testing, it seems to be ready. The interesting part is that it directly targets what people are asking for: end-to-end encryption, no ads, no tracking. None of that. Since Elon bought Twitter in 2022 and started this idea, four years have passed. Four years. And now, in less than a week, it should be available on the App Store. I don't know if it will really compete with the big platforms, but at least Musk is finally making it happen. What do you all think, will you download it when it launches?
