In the crypto market, the only six types of people who can continue to make money are roughly these:
The first type is the ruthless one, staying out of the market 80% of the year, only making two or three moves annually. When they draw their sword, they don’t take profits until blood is drawn; once profits are in hand, they leave immediately, not even leaving a tail light for others.
The second type is the steadfast holder, holding onto a coin for three to five years, treating it as a long-term investment. They have coins in their account, are indifferent to K-line charts, can endure loneliness, and withstand market cycles.
The third type is the technical trader, focusing only on one coin, rolling it back and forth to do T+0 trading, repeatedly buying low and selling high, even turning their position cost into negative, becoming more comfortable as they do.
The fourth type is the daredevil team, only playing the hottest narratives and leading projects, avoiding miscellaneous tokens. Always under the brightest light, catching the fiercest beasts. With strict discipline, daily review, heightened market intuition, and quick in-and-out moves like lightning.
The fifth type is the systematic trader, trusting only their repeatedly backtested quantitative strategies. When signals appear, they execute decisively, ignoring news and ignoring copy-trading calls, as cold-blooded as a machine. Ask them how much BTC they have today, and they might not even know, nor do they need to.
The sixth type is the smart person, knowing when to exit when the music is loudest, only eating the fattiest part of the fish, and leaving once satisfied. The last bite of the fish tail is left for those still greedy.
