CryptoWorld News reports that on April 22 (UTC+8), according to Beating Monitoring, OpenAI Codex project leader Thomas Sottiaux and CEO Sam Altman posted separately on April 21 to announce that the monthly active users of Codex have reached 4 million, less than two weeks after the last announcement of 3 million.

To celebrate this new milestone, OpenAI reset the rate limits for all tiered users again on the same day.
