Bro, it’s okay to fool other people, but don’t fool yourself into it.


Honestly, I really did pull off “harvesting” for two years in the past—back when I was so poor there was no choice but to deceive. All of it depended on packaging a persona, on lying, on acting—using small accounts, too, which didn’t match my real identity at all. And it wasn’t even that profitable. If my performance was bad, I’d get hit with an electric baton.
Later, I felt it wasn’t meaningful anymore. I still hope to be more truthful—to be a real, genuine version of myself feels better. I can act like someone else, but I can’t act like myself. Living, in the end, doesn’t really have much meaning.
