The two-year UK government bond yield rose more than 44 basis points this week
On Friday (March 20th), at the close of the European market, the yield on the UK 10-year government bond rose by 16.2 basis points to 5.005%, with a total increase of 17.7 basis points this week, showing a V-shaped reversal overall. The yield on the 2-year UK bond increased by 18.2 basis points to 4.577%, with a weekly rise of 44.4 basis points. The 30-year UK bond yield rose by 14.4 basis points to 5.578%, with a weekly increase of 7.8 basis points; the 50-year UK bond yield increased by 15.2 basis points to 5.146%, with a weekly rise of 8.7 basis points. The 2/10-year UK bond yield spread decreased by 1.78 basis points to +41.95 basis points, with a weekly decline of 27.16 basis points.
