Barnyard Games, a game development company built on the metaverse platform "Fortnite" Fortnite, announced the completion of a new round of funding of $3.4 million, led by Menlo Ventures, with participation from BetaWorks, Alumni Ventures, Charge VC, and major strategic angel investors Eden Chen and Nate Mitchell. Built on the Fortnite (UEFN) platform, Barnyard Games has launched five games so far, and this funding deal is the first investment deal for Amy Wu, a former game partner at Lightspeed Venture Partners and former head of games at FTX, since joining Menlo Ventures.
