Due to the government "shutdown", the salaries of House of Representatives staff will be suspended.

Jin10 data reported on October 30, local time on October 29, that staff in the U.S. House of Representatives received notification that they would not be able to receive the salary originally scheduled for distribution on October 31. The notification stated: “Due to a funding interruption, the Office of the Administration has no authority to disburse salaries until Congress passes a temporary funding resolution or the FY2026 appropriations bill and it is signed into effect.” Unlike Senate staff who receive salaries twice a month, House staff are paid once a month, so the impact is more direct.
