Unpopular thinking, why 28% of "No" is worth mentioning



When 72% of people rush toward "Yes," I choose to pause and take a look at the 28% of "No."
There are three reasons: First, the law emphasizes clear written words; the "non-profit" from back then was more of a vision statement and may not constitute a legally binding betting agreement. Second, Ultraman can argue that closed-source and capital infusion are necessary measures to protect AI safety in the arms race of computing power, which macroscopically still serves human interests. Third, the court might dismiss on procedural grounds, without making a substantive ruling on win or lose.
My strategy has always been this: use a very small position to gamble on high-odds events. If OpenAI can produce decisive evidence, the 28% return is far more attractive than the crowded 72% over there. Odds thinking is more important than direction.
