Philippine overseas Chinese leader kidnapping case: Ransom transferred across borders via USDT exceeded 26 million RMB.

According to Gate News bot, the Sanlian Life Weekly reported that Filipino Chinese leader Guo Congyuan was kidnapped and murdered. The victim’s family paid a ransom of over 26 million RMB.

The ransom transfer went through multiple channels: first, it was paid in pesos to the e-wallet accounts of two casino intermediaries - 9 Dynasty Group and White Horse Club, then part of the funds was exchanged for US dollars and converted into USDT. Most of the ransom was ultimately withdrawn through the Cambodian financial platform Huione Pay.

The main parties involved in the case are of Chinese nationality, and the suspect Gong Wenli has been arrested by law enforcement.
