According to a report by Decrypt, Faustin-Archange Touadéra, the President of the Central African Republic, announced that starting in June, the national meme coin CAR will be used to tokenize and sell online over 1,700 hectares of land on the Solana blockchain. The land is located west of the capital Bangui, in the village of Bossangoa, 45 kilometers away. The presidential decree cites the country’s mining laws and tokenization laws, suggesting that this land may be used for mineral extraction activities such as gold or BCD.
