Zehua Wang joins the company as Chief Scientist Advisor. Dr. Wang Zehua is currently a core member of the Blockchain Research Center (Blockchain@UBC) at the University of British Columbia (UBC) and an adjunct professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. He has long been deeply engaged in the field of decentralized multi-agent system collaboration and security, and his research focuses on the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) and blockchain technology, especially in trusted edge AI, blockchain and smart contract security, zero-knowledge proof, etc. He is leading UBC’s “Next Generation Secure Collaborative IoT Systems” project, supported by the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC) Discovery Fund. Dr. Wang has a strong interest in the Web3 field, focusing on the application of cryptography, zero-knowledge proofs, and game theory to protocol design and Web3 application innovation. His past accomplishments include serving as Chief Scientist for the RightMesh project, which uses blockchain technology to bridge the digital divide in Canada’s north, for which he was honored by Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. Since 2019, he has been responsible for designing and teaching UBC’s graduate blockchain technology course. The addition of Dr. Wang Zehua will significantly enhance LazAI’s cutting-edge research strength and technology leadership at the intersection of AI and Web3.
