Mars Financial News, June 13, recently, community members jump_BAHA_jump and Alice_und_Bob posted on the Polkadot forums proposing the creation of an initial Bitcoin strategic reserve for the Polkadot treasury. The proposal responds to the community’s previous proposal in the referendum #1394（Wish for Change）中的愿景，旨在通过资产多元化提升国库的长期稳定性与抗风险能力。目前该提案刚刚发布在 Polkadot 论坛上，还没有正式在链上启动。 #1394: this is a proposal that has already passed the “Wish for Change”, and community members @Phunky proposed to gradually swap 1 million DOT for Bitcoin as a new attempt to diversify the treasury’s assets. This proposal intends to use 501,000 DOT (of which 500,000 DOT is used to convert tBTC and 1,000 DOT is used to transaction fees), and the execution method is to use the DCA (regular investment) function of the Hydration protocol to gradually convert 500,000 DOT to tBTC in one year, and inject it into the Hydration Omnipool as liquidity. BTC asset form: tBTC, a decentralized non-custodial BTC bridging solution provided by Threshold Network, using a threshold ECDSA wallet mechanism.
