US officials: US fighter jets are patrolling over the Middle East.

On June 14, local time, a U.S. official said that U.S. fighter jets were patrolling the skies over the Middle East to protect personnel and facilities. At the same time, the US Navy has instructed the destroyer USS Thomas Hudner, capable of defending against ballistic missiles, to sail from the Western Mediterranean to the Eastern Mediterranean. The second destroyer has also begun to move forward in order to be on standby if the White House needs it.
