According to Mars Finance, Sumitomo Mitsui Financial Group (SMBC), one of Japan’s three major banks, announced the opening of a new business co-creation base “HOOPSLINK” in Marunouchi, Tokyo, focusing on cutting-edge technologies such as generative AI, Web3, Quantum Computing, stablecoins, and AR applications. This base aims to promote collaboration between large enterprises and startups to create new businesses and accelerate the implementation of SMBC’s existing stablecoin-related research into concrete projects.
