"The Federal Reserve (FED) Echo Chamber": Minutes show that the Federal Reserve is divided into three major factions.

DailyNews

PANews, July 10 news, according to Jin10 reports, “The Federal Reserve mouthpiece” Nick Timiraos stated that the Federal Reserve’s meeting minutes revealed some things we already knew, officials (on the interest rate path) are divided into three main camps: ① cut rates within the year but exclude July (mainstream camp), ② keep rates steady throughout the year, ③ advocate for immediate action at the next meeting (the minutes show that only a “minority” of attendees support this, implying The Federal Reserve Board of Governors Waller and Bowman). The meeting minutes also pointed out, “Several attendees indicated that the current target range for the federal funds rate may not be much higher than the neutral level.” In other words, unless the economy slows significantly, even if rate cuts are restarted, the subsequent rate-cutting space will be very limited.
