The ETHGlobal New York 2025 hackathon will be held in New York from August 15 to 17, 2025, where a total of 275 participating projects were born during this 36-hour hackathon.

On August 18, ETHGlobal New York announced 10 winning projects, which are: Swap Pay, Pumpkin Spice latte, Noah, Hardhat3-Ledger, Kyma Pay, x402-flash, Primer, TX Delay Insurance, Rivals.

The following are brief introductions to 10 award-winning projects:

Swap Pay

Swap Pay is an SDK that simplifies Web3 payments. With the help of Chainlink data feeds, users can view the prices of all tokens in their wallets in real-time. This allows users to have a comprehensive understanding of the value of their balances. At checkout, they only need to select the contribution amount of each token to pay with PYUSD. Using EIP-5792, users do not have to go through multiple exchanges, approvals, and transactions; they only need to execute a single transaction.

Pumpkin Spice latte

Pumpkin Spice Lattes is a savings application linked to bonuses that transforms the dull DeFi yields into exciting prizes. Users deposit stablecoins into a shared pool. The principal is always safe, but the earnings in the pool are used for regular lottery draws. Winners receive generous “latte rewards,” while non-winners retain their deposits. It’s a fun and easy-to-use way to make saving engaging while introducing user-friendly DeFi mechanisms.

Noah

Noah is a cryptocurrency inheritance and security system that connects digital assets with real-world verification to achieve ultimate security. Noah ensures that regardless of what happens to the user or the user’s keys, their encrypted assets will not be lost.

Noah utilizes the MEV mechanism of deadlock switches and neutral incentives (to ensure maintenance without Noah’s intervention) to ensure that if there is no owner intervention within the specified time (meaning they cannot access their wallet or themselves), the funds will always be withdrawn and settled to the designated beneficiary address.

Hardhat3-Ledger

Hardhat3-Ledger has added Ledger wallet integration in Hardhat3, enabling secure hardware transaction signing.

Hardhat3-Ledger adds Ledger wallet support to Hardhat 3 through the device management kit (device-management-kit) library, enabling developers to seamlessly integrate Ledger hardware wallets with the latest version of Hardhat. This allows developers to incorporate hardware-based security signatures for transactions, messages, and typed data when creating projects with Hardhat 3. Through this integration, users can sign transactions on their Ledger wallets when deploying smart contracts to any EVM network using Hardhat 3.

Kyma Pay

Kyma Pay is an on-chain financial infrastructure that facilitates merchants in accepting stablecoin payments compliant with the GENIUS Act: global instant payments with fees only one-tenth of Stripe’s (0.15% vs Stripe’s 1.5% stablecoin payment fee). Kyma Pay supports PYUSD, USDC, USDT, and USDe. To achieve highly efficient stablecoin exchanges between merchants and customers, Kyma Pay employs the Orbital AMM design deployed on Arbitrum One. The uniqueness of this design lies in its application of the concept of concentrated liquidity from UniswapV3 to a new type of liquidity pool that supports hundreds of stablecoins, including PYUSD, UDSC, USDT, USDe, and more.

x402-flash

Supports x402 micropayments with zero settlement delay costs.

x402-flash is a new solution aimed at eliminating delays, bringing rich x402 expressions to clients. The Flash architecture works by using managed smart contracts to guarantee payments to providers while allowing customers to access nearly instant API responses, limited only by the amount locked in management. Both the creators and end users of x402 will benefit from this, as they will be able to conduct large-scale microtransactions, limited only by the funds in their self-custodied wallets.

Primer

Primer is a Chrome extension that allows gift cards to act as an invisible settlement layer, making the cryptocurrency payment experience on Amazon seamless.

Primer embeds the “Checkout with Cryptocurrency” button directly into the Amazon order page and styles it using Amazon’s own design system, providing a native experience. Upon clicking, users will connect to wallets such as Coinbase Wallet, MetaMask, or Phantom. They will send USDC or other supported assets to our merchant address and use Coinbase’s CDP Data API to verify the transaction instantly. Once the funds are confirmed, Primer’s backend will automatically purchase Amazon gift cards and apply them to the order.

TX Delay Insurance

TX Delay Insurance aims to alleviate the inconvenience and financial losses caused by transaction delays in the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) network. It introduces a smart contract that acts as an insurance provider, allowing users to recover losses due to delays without modifying the original transaction. This solution also uses an RPC proxy to record proof of transaction delays, enabling efficient claims processing.

Rivals

An AR PVP shooting game where you can fight zombies in the real world to earn RIVAL tokens.

Rivals is a revolutionary augmented reality (AR) multiplayer shooting game. Rivals combines the immersive AR experience of applications like Pokémon GO with the competitive intensity of first-person shooting games, turning the real world into a competitive gaming arena. It is not just a mobile game, but a clever integration of Unity AR Foundation, blockchain economy, and AI-driven game mechanics, creating a lasting, location-based gaming ecosystem where players can compete for cryptocurrency rewards, giving real monetary value to in-game achievements.
