The Bitcoin DeFi protocol Lombard will hold a community sale of the BARD token on the Buidlpad platform, raising 6.75 million USD, corresponding to 1.5% of the total supply with a fully diluted valuation of 450 million USD.
The open sale registration for KYC is from 26–29/8, participants can purchase using USD1, BNB, or LBTC on 1–2/9, with priority given to LBTC holders and current users. 10% of the sale quota is reserved for creators and educators.
At the same time, Lombard also launched the Liquid Bitcoin Foundation, an independent governance organization responsible for the development, collaboration, and funding to expand the ecosystem.
Lombard’s flagship product is LBTC, a yield-bearing Bitcoin token with a TVL of approximately 1.5 billion USD, integrated into several protocols such as Aave, Etherfi, and Pendle. The company previously raised 17 million USD from Polychain, Franklin Templeton, Bybit, and YZi Labs.
