Jin10 reported on October 16 that the head of the Iranian Atomic Energy Organization, Eslami, stated on the 15th that cooperation between Iran and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) must comply with Iranian law. Due to the Agency's failure to fulfill the obligations stipulated by Iranian law, cooperation cannot commence. According to the Islamic Republic News Agency, Eslami told reporters during a cabinet meeting in the capital Tehran that previously, Iran had required the IAEA to condemn the U.S. attack on Iranian nuclear facilities in June and to issue a statement committing to safeguard Iran's sensitive nuclear data. However, the IAEA has not implemented these actions, thus cooperation cannot proceed.
