The company listed on Nasdaq, Forward Industries (FORD), has added 25 industry leaders to its Crypto Advisory Board to guide the corporate fund strategy focused on Solana. Council members include notable founders and CEOs such as Amir Haleem (Helium), Armani Ferrante (Backpack), Cindy Leow (Drift Labs), Robert Leshner (Superstate), and Tarun Chitra (Gauntlet), along with leaders from Galaxy Digital.
Chairman Kyle Samani emphasized that the establishment of the council is an important step in bringing the value of the Solana ecosystem to investors, while reflecting the increasing confidence in Solana in the global capital markets.
Earlier, Forward spent about 1.6 billion USD to purchase 6.8 million SOL and filed for a 4 billion USD stock issuance to continue expanding the fund.
Currently, public companies hold a total of about 15.9 million SOL, with Forward being the largest holder, strengthening the role of Solana in public corporate funds.
