Parent Company of NYSE: More Than Half of Institutional Clients Are Interested in Prediction Markets

According to Jinse Finance, Jeffrey Sprecher, CEO of Intercontinental Exchange Inc. (ICE), revealed that more than half of the group’s institutional clients are interested in acquiring prediction market data generated from its new partnership with prediction market platform Polymarket.

Speaking at the Goldman Sachs Financial Services Conference on Tuesday, Sprecher stated that ICE’s 10,000 clients, who originally focused on trading traditional commodities such as oil, natural gas, and cocoa, are now closely monitoring developments in the prediction market. They are doing so to assess how prediction markets might impact their current and future financial positions.
