Telegram "PumpCell" group profits $800,000 in one month from a pump and dump scam

Odaily Planet Daily reports that according to Solidus Labs monitoring, a Telegram group called “PumpCell” has organized multiple high-coordination pump-and-dump scams on Solana and BNB Chain. The group boosted tiny market cap tokens to seven-figure valuations within minutes through synchronized token deployments, sniper-bot purchases, false narratives, and meme-driven hype activities. Solidus Labs’ investigation estimates that the group made a profit of $800,000 in October 2025 and transferred funds through centralized exchanges and OTC cash brokers, allegedly to evade regulatory oversight. Solidus Labs points out that the automation of market makers (AMMs), bot trading, and cross-chain pseudonymity in the crypto asset market make it difficult for traditional monitoring tools to detect such schemes. The organization warns that “PumpCell” reflects the broader evolution of digital asset abuse patterns.
