BlockBeats News, December 25 — According to the Uniswap Foundation’s 2024 financial report, the foundation’s salary expenses for the year were $4.8 million, while the actual work output of the foundation was only “grants of $10 million.” In comparison, the Optimism Grants Council’s staff costs amounted to $2.6 million, managing a grant budget of $63.5 million. The community stated that the Uniswap Foundation’s executive compensation is comparable to the entire grants team of Optimism, yet only 20% of the funds were disbursed, prompting UNI holders to demand justification of its value. This incident has also sparked a debate about DAO efficiency.
