Odaily Planet Daily Report

Jin10 Data, January 8th: White House Press Secretary Psaki stated that the Trump administration is “actively” discussing the possibility of purchasing Greenland, and said that Trump is prioritizing diplomatic solutions but “reserves multiple options.” After the United States captured Venezuelan President Maduro, Greenland quickly became the focus of international news, reigniting Trump’s interest in this Arctic island. Psaki said that acquiring Greenland is “something the President and his national security team are actively discussing,” and that Greenland “is beneficial to U.S. national security.” The European Union responded by saying it “fully supports and stands in solidarity” with Greenland. European Council President Charles Michel said, “Greenland belongs to its people. Without Denmark, without Greenland, no decisions can be made regarding Denmark and Greenland.”
