PANews March 5 News, according to Jin10 citing Iranian international media reports, Iran’s expert meeting will hold an emergency session on Thursday to officially announce Mojtaba (the son of the late Supreme Leader Khamenei) as the new Supreme Leader. However, at least eight members are considering boycotting the vote, believing that appointing Khamenei’s son may create an impression of hereditary rule and raise questions about religious legitimacy. The last emergency meeting was interrupted before the final vote count when Israel conducted an airstrike on the meeting venue. Due to ongoing security concerns, the next meeting is expected to be held online at a secret location.
