Theo NS3.AI, Lee cho biết các ví Bitcoin đời đầu sử dụng định dạng khiến khóa công khai dễ bị lộ hơn so với các chuẩn hiện nay. Điều này có thể tạo ra thách thức về quản trị đối với mạng lưới Bitcoin nếu công nghệ máy tính lượng tử phát triển đủ mạnh để khai thác lỗ hổng này.
