Russia claims control of 5 settlements, Ukraine claims intense frontline battles

On August 3, Jinshi Data reported that the Russian Ministry of Defense notified on August 2 that in the past week, the Russian army controlled five settlements in the Donetsk region and used high-precision weapons and drones to strike 11 groups of Ukrainian military industrial enterprises, troops, and logistical facilities. The Russian army shot down one MiG-29 fighter, one Su-25 fighter, and 375 drones with the air defense system. In addition, the Russian army also destroyed three Patriot air defense missile launch systems and three radar systems of the Ukrainian army.
