On August 3, Jinshi Data reported that the Russian Ministry of Defense notified on August 2 that in the past week, the Russian army controlled five settlements in the Donetsk region and used high-precision weapons and drones to strike 11 groups of Ukrainian military industrial enterprises, troops, and logistical facilities. The Russian army shot down one MiG-29 fighter, one Su-25 fighter, and 375 drones with the air defense system. In addition, the Russian army also destroyed three Patriot air defense missile launch systems and three radar systems of the Ukrainian army. On the same day, the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces released a battle report stating that there were 72 battles in the front-line area on that day, and the fierce fighting was still continuing.
