On September 16th, Jin10 Data reported that Ryan Lao Si, who was arrested on suspicion of attempting to assassinate the former US President and Republican presidential candidate Trump on the afternoon of September 15th local time, appeared in a federal court in West Palm Beach, Florida for the first time at 10 am local time on September 16th. According to the US Department of Justice, Lao Si was initially charged with two gun-related offenses: being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm and possessing a firearm with an obliterated serial number. He may face more charges in the future, and these two initial charges allowed him to be detained for further investigation.
