Pyth launches upgraded version Oracle Integrity Staking, introducing on-chain stake rewards and slashing mechanism

Odaily Planet Daily News Pyth announced on X platform that it will launch an upgraded version of Pyth called Oracle Integrity Staking (OIS), aiming to improve the reliability of data sources and the security of the Decentralized Finance ecosystem. OIS incentivizes publishers and PYTH holders to participate in stake by introducing on-chain stake rewards and slashing mechanism, ensuring the security of the Oracle Machine network. Publishers can earn rewards by providing high-quality data, and will be penalized if the data is incorrect. In addition, PYTH holders can stake and delegate to publishers to enhance their returns. Pyth DAO will be responsible for overseeing the key updates and parameters of OIS.
