Golden Finance reported that Mark Uyeda, a commissioner at the US SEC, said in an interview with Fox Business News that the SEC’s encryption policy and approach have been a disaster for the entire industry in the past few years.
When asked what different measures the SEC could or should take, Uyeda said, “There is a need to develop clear guidance and explanations on which behaviors fall within the scope of securities law and which behaviors do not.”
