On October 12th, Jinshi Data learned that, according to the Lebanese side, Iran’s parliament speaker Kalibaf arrived in the capital Beirut of Lebanon on the morning of the same day. It is reported that during this visit, he will meet with Lebanese officials and express “Iran’s support for Lebanon and the Lebanese people’s resistance against Israeli crimes.” Kalibaf told the media that his visit to Beirut was at the invitation of Nabih Berri, the Speaker of the Lebanese Parliament, to convey a message from Iran’s Supreme Leader Khamenei that Iran stands with Lebanon. Kalibaf will leave Beirut after meeting with Lebanese officials on the evening of the 12th and go to Geneva to attend the meeting of the Inter-Parliamentary Union of various countries.
