Odaily Planet Daily News BTC protocol layer Surge announced the completion of a $1.8 million Pre-Seed round of financing, with Autonomy, Gerstenbrot Capital, Double Peak Group, Sats Ventures, Vamient Capital, Samara AG, and angel investors including Rushi Manche of Movement Labs, CoinGecko co-founders Bobby Ong and TM Lee participating. The new funds will drive the development of its MetaLayer to fully unleash the potential of BTC as the global currency base layer. It is reported that Surge plans to launch its test network soon.
