On November 12th, Jinshi Data News, Bayi Iron and Steel announced that the company’s steelmaking plant has two converter production lines of 120t and 150t. The 150t production line of the steelmaking plant will build a new wide and thick slab continuous casting machine project, with a total investment of not more than 239 million yuan excluding taxes. After the project is implemented, it will have the annual production capacity of 1.65 million tons of qualified slab continuous casting, be able to adapt to the production of more steel grades, have excellent quality of cast billets; achieve hot delivery of wide and thick slab billets, maximize energy and logistics cost savings, and optimize benefits.
