Shanghai Stock Exchange: Announcement on the Revision of the Compilation Scheme of SSE 180 Index

Jin Shi Data News on November 14th, in order to further improve the investability of the index, the Shanghai Stock Exchange and China Securities Index Co., Ltd. decided to revise the compilation plan of the SSE 180 Index. The revision includes: increasing the Liquidity threshold: selecting securities whose daily average trading volume in the past year ranks in the top 90% of the sample space; revising the sample selection method: for securities that meet the investability screening criteria in the sample space, after excluding the listed company securities with C or below in the China Securities ESG evaluation results, select the top 180 securities ranked by daily average total Market Cap in the past year as the index sample; adding weight constraints: the weight of a single sample does not exceed 10%, and the total weight of the top five samples does not exceed 40%, and the total weight of the primary industry is consistent with the corresponding free float Market Cap of the primary industry in the sample space; canceling the fast inclusion rule of the temporary adjustment part. The rest of the index compilation plan remains unchanged. The above revision of the compilation plan will be implemented on December 16, 2024.
