Techub News, according to sources cited by CoinDesk, Decentralized Finance giant Lido, led by co-founders Konstantin Lomashuk and Vasiliy Shapovalov, is preparing to create a blockchain identity verification platform codenamed ‘Y’, and plans to compete with World Network, led by OpenAI co-founder Sam Altman.

It is reported that, unlike World Network, which uses iris scanning for identity verification, the Y project will verify user identity based on their social and blockchain activity data, combined with Ethereum authentication services. The solution aims to eliminate the risks associated with biometric data leaks and minimize the potential for fraud.
