French users are banned from entering Polymarket prediction market

Golden Finance reported that Polymarket has blocked French users and warned against attempting to bypass the blockade. According to a social media post, Polymarket has now placed French users on a restricted user list. After the country’s gambling regulatory agency reportedly announced a ban on prediction markets, it is said that French users can no longer access Polymarket. However, some French Polymarket users on social media platform X said they are still accessing the prediction market through virtual private network (VPN) applications.
