On December 4th, Jinshi Data reported that Pat Gelsinger, former CEO of Intel, was asked to resign by the board of directors due to the slow implementation of the plan to turn losses into profits. He will receive a severance package of approximately $12 million. After Gelsinger’s departure, Intel appointed an interim co-CEO, and the search for a permanent CEO is still underway.
