On February 16th, Jinshi Data reported that on the evening of February 15th local time, a stampede occurred at a train station in New Delhi, the capital of India, resulting in at least 18 deaths and multiple injuries. The Indian Railway Minister stated that an investigation into the incident has been requested. According to Indian media reports, the stampede occurred around 8 p.m. that evening, when a large number of passengers were waiting on the platform to board the train to attend traditional festive activities. Witnesses stated that the incident occurred when the broadcast announced a platform change for a certain train, leading to a sudden large-scale movement of people.
