Invested 100 yuan to test the waters in the crypto market, and unexpectedly, this little money taught me a lesson.

Watching the account numbers jump around, I felt like I was chosen by the heavens when it rose, and doubted life when it fell. Such a small fluctuation of a few dozen yuan, my heartbeat is faster than a roller coaster.

The biggest takeaway? Realized that I am just a complete newbie. Those candlestick charts, technical indicators, etc., look exciting, but when it comes to actual trading, I’m completely clueless. When others talk about stop-loss, I think maybe I should wait and see if I can break even; when others say hold, I panic and sell as soon as it turns green.

Losing 100 yuan isn’t much, but it’s enough to make me understand—this market is not to be played with. Jumping in without a solid foundation is no different than just giving away money. Now I’m going to honestly learn the basics, so at least next time I put in money, I’ll have some idea.
