Abstract generation in progress

CoinWorld News reports that Aave Labs stated that, in light of recent community discussions, the team plans to propose a specific mechanism in the upcoming governance proposal to share the revenue generated outside the protocol with AAVE token holders, in order to enhance the long-term alignment between application layer products, the protocol, and the tokens. Aave Labs pointed out that applications built on Aave that charge their own fees will not weaken the protocol’s profitability; on the contrary, they will help expand the protocol’s usage and overall revenue. The related proposal will also cover the brand and intellectual property (IP) usage structure and set sufficient DAO governance safeguards to protect the interests of the Aave DAO and token holders. The team emphasized that their goal is to promote the joint growth of the Aave protocol and AAVE tokens, and specific implementation plans for the governance proposal will be announced soon.
